Currently we are maintaining few thousand of virtual hosts in the AlphaNet network in polish and world domains, and few thousands of e-mail accounts. According to our development strategy we put an emphasis on security and stability of our devices, and that is why main criteria which provides WWW its functionality is multilayer of technical solutions. This regulation also concern obviously the servers, that is why almost every service is carried out on separate physical server depending on specific and assumed design of one or more additional task server, for example: database, or mail. Currently on security of hosting services there are used 50 physical services equipped in single and dual processor platforms, SCSI and IDE, working independent or in cluster systems. In addition we support about 20 physical collocated/dedicated servers, for individual businesses.

Collocation center s an air-conditioned room, equipped according to valid standard. It is placed in restricted area and is under 24h/7 technical maintaince over whole year, which concern also other our services. Center dispose points of presence to reputable networks which provide fast and collision-less access from every localization, it is NETIA S.A. on the glass-fiber backbone cable with 100Mbps bandwidthwhere currently 34 Mbps is utilized (data for 01.06.04). n practice, efective level of occupied bandwidth in comparison with technical potential is relatively small, we dispose a huge reserves which allow us a dynamic development.
